The Statue of Unity is the depiction of Indian freedom fighter and politician Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel . It is been established in Narmada district of Gujarat. It is therefore world’s longest stayed with 182m of height. It’s foundation was laid in 2013 by the Chief minister of Gujarat , Narendra Modi, the statue has also been inaugurated by Modi, who is current Prime Minister, on 31st October. Tallest Statue
With 182 metres high it is the tallest statue of the world. It is almost double the height of the Statue of Liberty with 93 meters.
Location
It is located at the Sardar Sarovar Dam on Narmada river in Gujarat . The statue has a viewing gallery at 153 meters height. A ‘Loha campaign‘ was run under which used iron farming implements were collected as a symbolic contribution of farmers towards the statue of the ‘Iron Man of India’. The iron collected through the campaign was melted, converted into ‘rebar’ and used in the foundation of the statue.
- 25,000 tonnes of iron and 90,000 tonnes of cement was used in the construction.
- A walkway, four-lane approach highway and a three-star lodging facility with 128 rooms are constructed for tourists.
- The statue will be able to withstand wind velocity up to 60 meters a second as well as earthquakes.
- Approximate cost of construction is Rs. 2,989 crore and as many as 2,500 workers have worked on the project.
- It is estimated that the statue will generate as many as 15,000 direct jobs for people every year.
- The statue is located at about 150 km from Nadiad, where Sardar Patel was born on 31st October 1875.

As a result there are many political people who doesn’t provide the accurate information like Rahul Gandhi , president of congress party told unlimited lies that the statue going to be made in china in 2015 but some other have told that he had given the work to some chinese foundry . Basically they have to give the baseless stories to their people of the nation . That’s completely unfair for the country citizens.
Recently individual from the youth congress party have been caught by spreading the fake photo of the statue of unity and the politics have told the nation that modi of making a defective statue of patel by using the public money of the country . But this is also completely fake as a result that the photo is not of the statue of unity but that was made by a sculptor name jashuben shilpi.
In every good or bad step taken by the politicians of the country being judge and always try to get some negative point.
