Soon you may get a chance to travel in a more luxurious and well furnished railway couches in your next train journey.
First test run of the model rake of ‘Make in India’ railway coaches was successfully completed between Bhopal and Bina railway stations last week. The couches were designed in Bhopal’s coach rehabilitation workshop (CRWS) at Nishatpura.
Check out the Make In India coaches which will be deployed soon by the Indian Railway.

More Safety for the Middle Birth holders
The middle birth holders can now enjoy more safety as the middle birth chains will be replaced with railings and also have side supports.
Painted Floors like Carpet
The floors of the railway coaches will be painted like carpet.
Multiple Mobile Charging Points and LED Lights
Every compartment will be equipped with multiple mobile & laptop charging points and separate LED reading lights.
Fire Extinguishers
Railway is putting extra security features in railway coaches. They have planned to install two fire Extinguishers to the both side of the coaches.
Bio Toilet
Soon, all the passenger coaches will have bio toilet attached with them to complete the ‘Swachh Rail-Swachh Bharat’ mission.
