Based on the a comic series by Charles S. Forsman, The End of the F***ing World is a black-comedy about James and Alyssa. One of the best things about this web series is its runtime, with each episode running for more or less 20 mins. James, played by Alex Lawther, is a 17-year old, who thinks himself as a psychopath couples up with Alyssa, played by Jessice Barden, his psychologically damaged classmate coming from a dysfunctional family on a murky misadventure.
The storyline beautifully highlights the miseries and deeply troubled psychological state of these two teenagers, who find comfort in one another. The End of the F***ing World boasts of stellar performances and a magnificent soundtrack. The series is darkly funny and at the same time sadly romantic.
13 Reasons Why

13 Reasons Why has courted controversy early on due to the subject material it dealt with ie suicide. But there can be no denying that the series is worth binge watching. The story is about Hannah, a teenage girl who commits suicide and leaves behind 13 tapes as her suicide note. Each one of these tapes was directed to a particular individual who was responsible for her decision to end her life. Currently in its third season, 13 Reasons Why can under the scanner in its first season itself where the critics stated that the web series glorified suicide. Regardless, this web series is incredible, emotional, and at the same time heartbreaking.
