This outspoken actress has been subjected to the casting couch at the very beginning of her career. Never the less, she firmly refused to and spoke against it in a press meet stating “Fortunately, I never had to go through the casting couch. Honestly, I feel somebody has to be really dumb to think that they’d get a role for sleeping around. And I have never been so dumb — not even at the age of 17 when I started my career.”

Ayushmann Khurrana:

We all know Ayushmann as a well established actor before he established himself into the big screen. Back to the days of his remarkable journey, it is reported that directors asked him for sexual pleasures for which the former clearly refused to.

This talented actress has been vocal about the experiences she’s been into. Reportedly, the producer of a film asked her out on a date which she refused to. She later went through a lot of hate from the production house of the same. The actress confessed telling she has been a victim of casting couching too. She further added that all the directors and producers who asked her for sexual preferences are now guilty. She also said this phase was just in the start of her acting career and she eventually learnt to say no.

The actress remembers the time when she was offered a film with conditions laid that she had to sleep with the particular director. But she later concluded that there hasn’t been anything intense since then and hasn’t got to encounter such instances again. She also added her experiences with a South Indian actor who tried to get flirtatious and she just turned down being very rude.

This Bollywood actress boldly revealed about her experiences in body shaming and how she was approached inappropriately on numerous occasions. At an interview, she said that one thing that had to change about the industry was the expectations on woman and how they are approached. She said women have more to offer if they are given equal opportunities.
