This great bodybuilder from Bengal, won the Mr. Hercules award in 1950 at the age of only 36.
In 1951 he had finished second in the Mr Universe contest but never lost hope and stayed in London and eventually won the title in the next year.
Mr Aich born in Comilla district of undivided Bengal (now in Bangladesh) and joined the Royal Indian Air Force in 1942 . There he was encouraged by British officer Reub Martin and took up body-building seriously.
